The 3-Stage Journey Flow

Stage 1: Morning Departure & The Upper Cascades

Your day begins with a private pickup from Kandy as we head toward the misty Knuckles foothills. The air cools rapidly as we climb into the tea country. Our cascade trail kicks off at the iconic Huluganga Falls (a 75ft gateway fall), followed by a short trek to the majestic Thaliya Watuna Falls tucked away in a quiet valley. Along the way, walk through village spice groves and learn about high-country farming from local villagers.

Stage 2: Estate Waterfalls, Natural Dips & Village Feast

Next, we explore Lebanon Falls and Jodu Ella (Twin Falls), two unique streams falling side-by-side inside an old colonial tea estate. We then arrive at Saree Ella, where you can take a mid-day swim in its pure, natural rock basin. After drying off, we stop at a traditional village setting for a warm "Kamatha" style village lunch with red rice, lake fish, and organic mountain greens.

Stage 3: Afternoon Relaxation & Golden-Hour Return

We finish our circuit at Pokuna Falls, a serene spot featuring a natural basin perfect for relaxing, swimming, and photography. After taking in the peaceful surroundings, we wind back down the mountain roads, arriving in Kandy by late afternoon with golden-hour views across the valley.
